I have finally saved enough points with my hotel loyalty program for an iPad. All along I was thinking I would get the regular size, but last weekend my cousin had the mini and now I am perplexed. The mini has some advantages - the smaller size allows you to operate with one hand and obviously the price is lower.
Now I am torn. The main reason I want an iPad is because of my work travel. Right now I sometimes take both computers because our work security pretty much keeps us on lock down. No online shopping even. Not fun! I want to be able to watch movies on long flights, play on Pinterest and Facebook and check in on my daily reads. You know, all the important stuff.
Hoping to pull the trigger soon. Which would you choose?

Bad & Good
Last week wasn't a great week for me work wise. I was treated poorly by one of my clients and it wasn't necessary or warranted. I know I shouldn't let people like that get to me but it hurt and I was upset. As if {this} wasn't hint enough.
Then I spent the weekend at the beach with my nephew, parents and cousin. It was perfect as always. My cousin and I did some shopping both Friday and Saturday night and I was able to get some great finds at HomeGoods for an upcoming get together. It was relaxing and low key - well about as low key as you can get with a 2 yr old running around. But it was just what I needed after the week I had.
There may be some truth to the statement - "you need a bad day every now and then to really appreciate the good ones"
Yesterday for work I flew up to Massachusetts. I had some time before my meeting in Plymouth so I stopped by to see Plymouth Rock. How could I not I was less than 2 miles away. I had never been there and honestly the rock wasn't much to see. But knowing the history behind it, it was still neat to see.
Not all days are bad and but you should be able to find something good in every day, don't you think?

Summertime
Summer is winding down. The weather is cooler and you can tell that fall is right around the corner. But I can't help but hold on to summer as long as I can. It is by far my favorite season. The beach, the boardwalk, the baseball, the ice cream...the list goes on and on. In my next life I will live somewhere where it is warm all year long.
Here are some beautiful pics to keep summer going!

Pink or not to Pink?
Now that I have that cute little {bar cart} I think I need to step up my game in the rest of my living/dining room. That's the thing about condo living, it's really all one space. I am thinking a punch of pink but I'm not sure. Pillows would be the way to introduce whatever accents I go with. I tend to change my mind...A LOT! Decorating A.D.D. maybe....
Here is some eye candy inspiration of what I am liking right now.

If it's free it's for me!
A neighbor at my parent's house was having a yard sale. But by the time I got up there they were packing up. This cute little cart was on the curb. I tired to give her some money but she was just happy to see it not go in the trash. Sorry for the crappy before picture. But this was the best I got.
I gave her a good cleaning with just soap, water and windex on the glass shelves. I grabbed casters at my local Ace Hardware for less than $10. I added some things I already had for now but need to get this bar up to par!
